Overview:
Winnetka, IL is a 34,000 SF multi-story building featuring a ground-floor retail branch at 791 Elm Street. The retail footprint includes an 8,500 SF Chase branch with modern consultation areas and casual seating. The site opened to the public in early April 2026.

Involvement:
-Served as JPMorganChase Design Lead from concept through project completion; this site was among the first implementations of the new branch design standard developed collaboratively from 2024–2026.

-Partnered closely with internal stakeholders and external design partners (Gensler NY) across design development, construction documents, and construction administration through closeout.

-Led furniture and finish specifications, interior layout and placement of all elements, and styling including accessories and greenery review.

-Coordinated communication among dealers, consultants, project managers, and the Architect of Record to maintain alignment and support timely decision-making.

-Conducted regular site visits during construction to document installation progress for future rollouts and to reinforce design intent, ensuring execution aligned with the approved standards.

Overview:
Updated the Chase Retail Bank transaction line in response to employee and customer feedback, delivering a refreshed design aligned to the new branch palette and overall branch design direction.

Involvement / Impact:
Led end-to-end design development for a new transaction line that meets ADA/code requirements while supporting a stand-to-serve operating model. Partnered with industry leaders, product engineers, and millworkers to develop a modular counter system that integrates an accessible customer counter and an employee-side engineered riser that elevates technology and equipment to a comfortable 40" standing work height—concealed from the customer side and easily removable to revert to a fully accessible workstation if needed. Validated ergonomic improvements through controlled, in-person mockup testing with branch tellers, using results to refine and finalize the design. Reconfigured cash chest placement and structural supports to increase standing width and knee clearance under the countertop. Delivered a cohesive “color-drenched” aesthetic using a saturated blue solid-surface top, fingerprint-resistant laminate, and coordinating wallcovering, with integrated under-ledge lighting to improve visibility for customer signatures. Presented design updates, incorporated feedback, and drove the program through deployment beginning in 2026, with adoption planned for all new-build branches (estimated 200+ sites in the first year).

This kitchen remodel, located just outside Medina, Ohio, focused on expanding the existing footprint and rethinking the layout to better support everyday cooking while reducing through-traffic in the primary work zone. The homeowners requested a transitional design that would complement the home’s character while delivering a fresh, updated feel.

2020 Design

A key challenge was that the home’s porch and backyard access routed directly through the already compact kitchen, creating constant disruption to the workflow. To resolve this, I proposed a new plan that relocated the porch door and introduced a short hallway that functions as a dedicated mudroom—an element the clients had always wanted but didn’t believe the space could accommodate. I also expanded the kitchen into the former eat-in area to increase usable square footage and incorporated banquette seating along the new wall to create an efficient dining zone while improving circulation.

For the finish palette, I paired painted sage-green cabinetry with a light tile floor to keep the space bright and inviting. To bring warmth and connect with the adjacent wood flooring, I introduced an oak-stained woodgrain used at the coffee bar, banquette, and mudroom cabinetry. This contrast not only added texture and depth, but also helped define and subtly separate the kitchen from surrounding common areas.

To ensure continuity with the rest of the home, I integrated industrial-style lighting—consistent with the clients’ existing fixtures—and specified custom ceiling-mounted shelves from our company’s metal accessory line for a functional, design-forward feature.

The clients were thrilled with the final design concept. Construction completed late 2022.

This 1980’s two story home is located in Brecksville OH. I was approached by a couple wanting to update their primary on-suite and closet. The homeowners requested minimizing the brown tones, brightening up their space, and incorporating more modern touches to update their traditional style home. The biggest challenge to this bathroom was the already small footprint and the homeowners insisting on a separate water closet for the toilet. Through a series of space planning I was able to fit a water closet, double vanity sink, large walk-in shower with a bench, and a separate jetted tub.

My favorite element is the custom shower / drop-in tub. The idea was to combine the two spaces to make it feel larger. I achieved this by using the same tile surround on their shared wall and incorporated the shower bench with the tub ledge. The homeowners were delighted that we could fit a separate tub into their small space and they love that it all feels like one custom unit.

The walk in closet features two entries for his and hers. The finishes mimic what was chosen in the bathroom to give the whole suite a sense of cohesion. Still to be added is a window bench and remaining trim.

This remodel started late June of 2022 and is set to be completed in mid July. Final photos still to come.

Overview:

A transitional kitchen located in Brunswick, OH, designed to preserve the homeowners’ existing layout while delivering a cleaner, more current look and significantly improved functionality. Working within a tight, non-flexible budget and a fixed footprint, I focused on high-impact storage upgrades and durable, design-forward finishes that feel elevated yet practical for everyday living.

Key design enhancements:

-Maximized vertical storage by specifying soffit removal, allowing for 39" wall cabinetry in place of the previous 30" uppers.

-Expanded pantry capacity by framing in the refrigerator wall with two full-height pantry cabinets featuring interior roll-out trays for efficient organization.

-Cabinetry: wood grain with a light gray stain to achieve a refined look that matches the homeowners aesthetic while managing costs.

-Backsplash: An off-white glazed ceramic subway tile that adds subtle character and enhances natural light.

-Flooring: Oak-grain luxury vinyl plank in a deeper taupe tone—chosen for durability (pets) and to bring warmth and contrast to the cooler gray palette.

2020 Design

Timeline / status:
Project was finalized in late 2022. The homeowners are thrilled to have a kitchen they’re proud to host in, and an updated space that brings them lasting enjoyment.

This one bedroom apartment is located at 38 Marshall Ave in Akron, OH. This is a rental property that was my first assignment during my internship with M2 Creative Studios. I was responsible for resourcing of all materials and pricing them out. For this project, I shadowed the project manager so I was exposed to a lot of on-site work. These are finished photos of the property before the tenants moved in.

To match the downtown feel of the location of the property, as a design team, we decided to keep an open concept floor plan with modern chrome finishes.

A lack of floor space for a dining area and a lack of useable counterspace resulted in a team decision to have an extended countertop that is open to double as a dining area for the tenant.

The property has a limited amount of storage space. Because of this, I suggested to implement a European-style open shelving cart to substitute for a pantry.

As a rental property I knew the finishes used in the space needed to be both neutral to match tenant furniture and sustainable so many tenants can move in and out without issues or damages. The flooring is a grey vinyl flooring that is painted to appear as hardwood.

After the project was completed, I assisted with the marketing and graphic design team in developing a personal welcome letter for the tenants answering any questions about the property and the units appliances and fixtures. Together, we also developed the dragonfly logo for the entire rental property.

This lighting project consisted of a large scale office floor plan. For this project I calculated the lighting for each room, selected fixtures, and laid out my lighting design. Featured is the finished RCP board, electrical legend, and fixture legend.

This project consisted of an existing building that was re-designed into a commercial retail store of our choice. My fantasy company “Arome” is a high end French-inspired fragrance store. I chose a sophisticated monochromatic color scheme with pink as an accent. The furniture, decor, and finishes all reflect the French design theme.
