ABOUT ME
I’m an interior designer with a contemporary point of view and a strong appreciation for mixing styles to create spaces that feel curated, layered, and genuinely lived-in. If I had to name my “home base” aesthetic, it’s the intersection of antique and contemporary—clean lines meet curves, subtle sophistication, and a deliberate use of texture, contrast, and materiality. I’m constantly researching emerging trends and product innovations, but I’m equally grounded in the fundamentals: scale, proportion, balance, and the principles of design that make a space not only beautiful, but functional and lasting.
In residential design, I enjoy creating environments that reflect how people actually live—personal, elevated, and unique. In commercial work, I’m energized by the added complexity: specifying for public spaces means navigating restrictions, testing requirements, durability, and performance standards. I see those parameters as a creative advantage—an opportunity to push design solutions further through research, precision, and thoughtful problem-solving.
My favorite stage of the design process is space planning, where creativity and logic meet. It’s the phase that best showcases my strengths: problem-solving, drafting, attention to detail, and translating vision into buildable layouts. I also thoroughly enjoy sourcing furniture and finishes and compiling beautiful presentation palettes to tell a design story.
I’m proficient in 3D drawing and rendering programs including Chief Architect, Revit, 2020 Design, SketchUp, and AutoCAD, and I have experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Since graduating from a NASAD-accredited program in 2020 with a BS in interior design and interior architecture, I spent two years in residential design supporting home remodel projects from concept through completion—developing renderings, selecting finishes, sourcing furniture, and compiling project plans and schedules. I also gained sales experience presenting design services and sourcing natural stone for kitchen and bath remodels, custom architectural details, and furniture applications. After relocating to Columbus, Ohio, I expanded into commercial design and entered the retail design industry. Since August 2022, I’ve worked at JPMorganChase, primarily supporting design standards for Chase Retail Banking sites, while also contributing to specialty projects and unique site solutions.
Outside of design, I share life with my fiancé and our dog, Barney—a Boston Terrier/Beagle mix with a big personality. We bought our first home in April 2025 and have loved collaborating on ways to make it our own, layering in meaningful details and building a collection of personal décor pieces we discover while traveling. One of our biggest dreams is to visit Japan to experience its architecture, food, nature, and culture firsthand. I take real pride in forming lasting relationships—whether with life long friends, coworkers, neighbors, or industry reps. One of my favorite quotes is “The only constant is change.” from the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus. It’s a mindset that shapes not only how I approach design, but how I move through life: stay flexible, adapt when needed, and keep learning and growing with the world around me.
